Life
After an apprenticeship at the Deutsche Bundespost , Ettlich decided against a civil servant career. Together with his childhood friend Henry Heppel, he ran a pub in Schwabing from 1972 , and the Heppel & Ettlich cabaret from 1976 , a pub was also connected here. In parallel to his activity as a host, Ettlich worked for Bayerischer Rundfunk and founded a production company in 1985 . Ettlich dedicates himself above all to documentary films , increasingly since he gave up the pub in July 2009 and only continues the performance of the Heppel & Ettlich - now in the rooms of the Schwabing Chamber Theater .
