The Peoria Prancers were an American ice hockey franchise of the International Hockey League based in Peoria , Illinois . Their home ground was the Carver Arena .
history
The Peoria Prancers were founded in 1982 as a franchise of the International Hockey League . The club could not reach the play-offs in both the 1982/83 season and 1983/84 and placed in both seasons in the lower half of the IHL table. In the summer of 1984 the team was renamed Peoria Rivermen .
