The Milwaukee Chiefs were an American ice hockey franchise of the International Hockey League based in Milwaukee , Wisconsin .
history
The club was founded in 1952 and consequently entered the International Hockey League. In the first season the Chiefs won 15 games and lost another 42. With a total of 33 points, the team occupied third place in the table after the main round of the IHL. The following season 1953/54 was also unsuccessful. The Chiefs placed ninth and scored 29 points even four fewer than in the 1952/53 season. In the summer of 1954 the club was dissolved again.
