The Detroit Hettche were a Canadian ice hockey franchise of the International Hockey League (IHL) based in Detroit , Michigan . The Hettche venue was the Olympia Stadium .
history
The Detroit Hettche preceded the Windsor Hettche Spitfires , which moved to Detroit in 1949. The club was active in the IHL for three seasons and was able to achieve third, sixth and fifth place during this time. However, the team never qualified for the play-offs. After the 1951/52 season, the Detroit Hettche were dissolved.
