The Windsor Bulldogs were a Canadian ice hockey franchise of the International Hockey League based in Windsor , Ontario . The Bulldogs' venue was the Windsor Arena .
history
The Windsor Bulldogs were founded in 1953 and initially played in the Ontario Hockey Association Senior A League. In their second season, the Bulldogs reached the play-off final, which was lost. The team was able to repeat this success in the seasons 1959/60 and 1960/61. In their final season in the OHA Senior "A", the club won the Allan Cup , the league's championship. In the summer of 1963, the Windsor Bulldogs moved to the International Hockey League, in which the club was only active for one season and then dissolved in 1964.
