Wolfgang zu Ysenburg and Büdingen

Wolfgang Prince of Ysenburg and Büdingen in Büdingen (born March 30, 1877 in Büdingen ; † July 29, 1920 in Gößweinstein ) was the last prince ( registrar ) of Ysenburg-Büdingen-Büdingen (1906-1918).

Life

He was the son of Bruno Fürst zu Ysenburg and Büdingen in Büdingen (1837-1906) and Bertha Countess to Castell-Rüdenhausen (born July 4, 1845 in Rüdenhausen; † July 5, 1927 at Schloss Büdingen), daughter of Count Adolf zu Castell -Rüdenhausen (1805–1849) and Friederike Maria von Thüngen (1818–1888).

As a registrar he was automatically a member of the 1st Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse from 1906 until the November Revolution of 1918 . Since 1897 he was a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen .

marriage

Wolfgang married Countess Adelheid von Rechteren-Limpurg-Speckfeld on September 26, 1901 in Sommerhausen (born March 31, 1881 in Markt Einersheim ; † December 27, 1970 in Würzburg ), daughter of Friedrich Reinhard, Count von Rechteren-Limpurg-Speckfeld (1841 –1893) and Christine, Countess zu Stolberg-Wernigerode (1853–1933). The couple had no children.
