The Gmina Wymiarki ( German Wiesau , Sorbian Łukow ) is a rural community in the powiat Żagański of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name with 1220 inhabitants (2011).
history
The municipal area was part of the Sprottau district until 1945 . The place owes its development mainly to the glassworks, the first glassworks in Wymiarki was built in the 17th century.
