Wynohradiwka ( Ukrainian Виноградівка ; Russian Виноградовка Winogradowka , Romanian Burgugi ) is a Budschak located village in the Ukrainian Odessa with about 3300 inhabitants (2001).
The 4.21 km² large village is the administrative center of the eponymous, 132.22 km² district council in the south of the Rajon Arzys , to which the northern village of Plozk , founded by Bessarabian Germans , also belongs.
The village is located on the east bank of the Drakulja ( Дракуля ), a 52 km long left tributary of the Danube 19 km south of the district center of Arzys and 155 km southwest of the oblast center of Odessa .
history
The village was in the years 1824 to 1829 by Bulgarian established settlers and since then shares the history of the south of Bessarabia and peaceful landscape Budschak that since the Treaty of Bucharest of 1812 part of Bessarabia Governorate within the Russian Empire was. In the turmoil of the October Revolution , Russia lost Bessarabia, which in 1917 declared itself the Democratic Republic of Moldova and voluntarily joined the Kingdom of Romania in the same year . After the occupation of Bessarabia by the Soviet Union in 1940, the village was in the Akkerman Oblast (from August 7, 1940, Ismajil Oblast ) in the Ukrainian SSR . At the beginning of the German-Soviet War , the village came back to Romania in 1941. After the Red Army recaptured Bessarabia in 1944, the village was again in the Ukrainian Oblast Ismajil, which became part of Odessa Oblast in 1954. In 1991 Vynohradivka became part of independent Ukraine.
