geography

The village is the only locality of the eponymous, 73.83 km² district council in the east of Bolhrad Rajon .

Wynohradne is located on the bank of the Malyj Katlabuh ( Малий Катлабуг ), a 43 km long left tributary of the Welykyj Katlabuh ( Великий Катлабуг ), 39 km northeast of the Bolhrad district center and 180 km southwest of the Odessa oblast center . The T-16-08 territorial road runs through the village .

history

The village founded in 1830 by Danube Bulgarians in the historic Budschak landscape as Hassan Batъr (another source mentions the year of foundation 1821) was located in the south of Bessarabia in the Bessarabia Governorate within the Russian Empire at the time of its creation . In the turmoil of the October Revolution , Bessarabia was lost to Russia, declared itself a Democratic Republic of Moldova in 1917 and voluntarily joined the Kingdom of Romania in the same year . After the occupation of Bessarabia in 1940 by the Soviet Union, the village was in the Bolhrad district of Akkerman Oblast (from August 7, 1940, Ismajil Oblast ) in the Ukrainian SSR . At the beginning of the German-Soviet War , Wynohradne came back to Romania in 1941. After the Red Army recaptured Bessarabia in 1944, the village was again in the Ukrainian Oblast Ismajil, which became part of the Odessa Oblast in 1954. In 1991 the village became part of the independent Ukraine.
