The story of the Rößl landlady continues in picturesque St. Wolfgang in Upper Austria's Salzkammergut . Josefa Vogelhuber had to rely on her beloved, the lawyer Dr. Siedler, waived and instead married her pay waiter Leopold, who has always adored her. But in the coming season she is hosting a handsome officer who she likes very much and who makes her eyes beautiful. Then to make matters worse, her old love Dr. Settlers are up again, and other guests from the preseason have also returned. Production notes
Im Weißen Rößl was shot in July 1926 in Berlin's Efa film studio and on location at Lake Wolfgang (exterior shots). The film passed censorship on October 27, 1926. In contrast to Im Weißen Rößl , this time a youth ban was issued. The first performance of the six-act act with a length of 2,471 meters took place on December 17, 1926 in the Berlin Alhambra cinema on Kurfürstendamm.
Heinrich C. Richter designed the film structures.
