The Wysox Township is one of twelve townships in Carroll County in the northwest of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois .

The Wysox Township is located northwest of Illinois about 30 km east of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Iowa . The Wisconsin border is approximately 60 km north. The Rock River is about 20 km south.
The Wysox Township is located at 41 ° 58'28 "north latitude and 89 ° 48'13" west longitude and extends over 97.99 km².
Wysox Township is located in southeast Carroll County on the border with Whiteside County . The Wysox Township borders in the west on the Fairhaven Township , in the northwest on the Salem Township , in the north on the Rock Creek-Lima Township and in the east on the Elkhorn Grove Township .
