Yangyang County ( Korean : 고성군 , Yangyang-gun ) is located in Gangwon-do Province in South Korea . The administrative headquarters are located in Yangyang-eup City. The district had an area of 629 km² and a population of 28,032 inhabitants in 2019.
The district is known for its pine mushrooms and fishing and fish farming.
