Inje County ( kor .: 인제군 , Inje-gun ) is located in Gangwon-do Province in South Korea . The administrative headquarters are in the city of Inje-eup. The district had an area of 1,646 km² and a population of 31,981 inhabitants in 2019.
The county is located in the Taebaek Mountains and has the lowest population density in South Korea.
