The Yanmar Stadium is a football stadium in the Dutch city ​​of Almere , in the province of Flevoland . It is the sporting home of the Almere City football club , which was called FC Omniworld until the 2010/11 season . With 4,501 seats, the stadium in Almere is one of the smallest stadiums in Dutch professional football.

The stadium, which was inaugurated in 2005, has for a long time had 3,000 seats (including 2,500 seats) on its three covered grandstands close to the artificial turf field. There are now two tiers on the long sides (east and west) and two back-gate stands. In the south there are also two buildings in which u. a. the VIP rooms are located. The sports facility is located in a sports complex with soccer fields, an athletics facility and baseball fields. The forklift manufacturer Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks acquired the naming rights ; previously it was named after the Dutch athlete Fanny Blankers-Koen .

Until the end of the 2012/13 season, the stadium was called Mitsubishi Forklift Stadium . The naming contract ended because the forklift plant in Almere was closed. After that, the stadium was named after the club. On July 2nd, 2015 the mechanical engineering company Yanmar Europe BV in Almere was announced as the new name sponsor of the stadium for the next four years. The venue is now called Yanmar Stadium .
