The Frans-Heesen-Stadion ( proper spelling : Frans Heesen Stadion ) is a football stadium in the Dutch municipality of Oss , in the province of North Brabant . The building, completed in 2000, is the home ground of the football club FC Oss . The stadium now has a capacity of 4,560.
history
After construction began in 1997, the stadium in Oss was completed in 2000. At the beginning, the facility was named TOP Oss Stadion . This changed in 2008 with the new main sponsor Heesen Yachts ; a shipyard specializing in luxury yachts in Oss. The stadium has three covered seating areas. In addition to the main grandstand and the back straight, there is a rear grandstand in the north. The seats are located around 3 meters above the playing field in the stands, which improves the overview of the game. The guests' fans will find their seats at the south end of the opposite stand. Behind the other gate was a small standing room, where the Oss Talent Campus is now located . The learning, education and work facility was built with the municipality of Oss and the other partners Het Hooghuis, ROC de Leijgraaf and SV Top Oss.
In July 2011, FC Oss decided to name the stadium after its sponsor, Frans Heesen, out of gratitude for the support.
