Yeehaw Junction is a census-designated place (CDP) in Osceola County in the US state of Florida with 240 inhabitants (as of 2010).
geography
Yeehaw Junction is about 85 km southeast of Kissimmee and about 100 km southeast of Orlando . The CDP is at the intersection of US Highway 441 ( SR 15 ) and Florida State Road 60 . In the east the Florida's Turnpike leads past the place.
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the 240 inhabitants at that time were distributed among 68 households. 92.1% of the population identified themselves as whites , 1.3% as Indians and 0.4% as Asian Americans . 3.3% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.9% to several ethnic groups. 6.3% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 31.1% of all households and persons aged 65 or over lived in 30.0% of all households. 74.4% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 2.96.
