Yfke Sturm
Yfke Sturm (born November 19, 1981 in Almere ) is a Dutch supermodel .

Sturm is the daughter of an environmental inspector and a journalist. She grew up with two brothers, did a lot of sports and planned a future as a sports medicine specialist. That changed, however, when she asked an employee of the Dutch agency Elite Model Management in 1997 if she would like to apply for the international model competition Elite Model Look .

Sturm won the Dutch modeling competition and then, at the age of 15, the international elite model look in Nice , France . Not much later, she signed an exclusive contract with Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein Cosmetics. Sturm was still in school at the time and traveled to New York , Paris, and Amsterdam on assignments .

Some magazines Sturm worked for are Vogue , Harper's Bazaar , Elle , Marie Claire , Cosmopolitan, and L'Officiel. She has had ad campaigns for brands like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Emporio Armani , Giorgio Armani , Gianfranco Ferrè , Versace , DKNY , Escada , H&M , and Carolina Herrera . Her latest assignments have been for brands like Pantene, Garnier , Biotherm, the J-Lo campaign and Victoria's Secret .
Holland's Next Top Model
Storm has been twice Holland's Next Top Model, the counterpart to Heidi Klum's Germany's Next Top Model , moderated. The winner of the first season, Sanne Nijhof, then won the international model competition Supermodel of the World by the Ford agency . The winner of the second season, Kim Feenstra, made headlines because she had made as minors nude pictures, has a criminal record for theft and one year as escort worked. However, the next two seasons were presented by Daphne Deckers, a Dutch presenter, writer, former model and wife of tennis player Richard Krajicek , as Sturm wants to focus on her international modeling career, according to the official rationale of the TV station RTL 5 .
In 2008 Sturm was a guest in the seventh episode of Germany's Next Top Model .
Private life
Sturm had been in a relationship with Imad Izemrane, a Dutchman of Moroccan origin, since 2002, whom she married on July 7, 2007. In 2010 she got divorced. She has lived in New York for six years . She is the mother of a son born in 2015.
