The gmina wiejska Złotoryja [ zwɔtɔˈrɨja ] is an independent rural municipality in Poland in the powiat Złotoryja in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Złotoryja ( German Goldberg in Schlesien ). The rural community, to which the town of Złotoryja itself does not belong, has an area of 145 km², on which (as of June 30, 2019) 7071 people live. The municipality is part of the Neisse Euroregion .
geography
The rural community is located in Lower Silesia about 20 kilometers southwest of Legnica ( Liegnitz ). Its territory surrounds the city of Złotoryja on all sides.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community was part of the Legnica Voivodeship .
