Zamami ( Japanese 座 間 味 村 , - son ) is a village parish in Okinawa Prefecture .

geography

The parish extends over the western Kerama Islands , i. H. the inhabited islands of Zamami (578 inhabitants in 316 households as of March 31, 2011), Aka (264 inhabitants in 155 households) and Geruma (56 inhabitants in 31 households), the island of Fukaji with Kerama airport and 18 other islands of at least one hectare area. It is the most island-rich municipality in the prefecture.
