The United Arrival & Anclam colliery is a former hard coal mine in the Vormholz district of Witten . The mine emerged from the consolidation of the two previously independent mines Arrival and Anclam .

history

The beginnings

The trades of the two mines were already closely connected with each other during the time when both mines were still operating independently. As early as 1783, both mines had a joint shift supervisor . On August 24th, 1808, the arrival colliery consolidated with the Anclam colliery below the bottom of the tunnel to form the United Arrival & Anclam colliery. In 1811 the Gotthelf shaft was penetrated with the bottom of the St. Johannes Erbstollen . The Gotthelf shaft was a ton-long shaft . The shaft had a depth of 58 laughs and was equipped with a horse peg. In 1813 the mining of hard coal began in the Muttental . The promotion took place in the shaft Gotthelf to Erbstollensohle of St. John Erbstollens. In 1815 the mine was initially still in operation, later it was in deadlines set. In 1822 the old Göpelhaus burned down with all the above-ground facilities. Since the shaft was also used by the arrival colliery, which operates independently above the bottom of the tunnel, the systems had to be replaced quickly. Just two months later received trades Supreme Frielinghaus to build a new larger Pferdegöpel the job. Oberste Frielinghaus built an oak Göpel for 1146 Reichstaler, which was soon put into operation.

The other years

In August 1828 the United Arrival & Anclam colliery was put back into operation. Funding took place at the Blondine and Gotthelf shafts . Production at the Gotthelf shaft was stopped in 1828. The horse peg was dismantled and then reassembled at the Blondine shaft. The farmer Oberste Frielinghaus managed the operation of the Göpel for several years. In 1830 the Blondine shaft was in production. In 1835 the Blondine mine and the Moses mine were in operation. In 1840 the Blondine mine was closed. In that year and in the following years only the Moses shaft was in operation. After all of the usable coal had been mined down to the hereditary tunnel, further operation of the mine was no longer successful. At the end of June 1847, the United Arrival & Anclam colliery was closed. The trades had the horse peg from the Moses shaft dismantled and sold it to the Gideon colliery . In the period from May 29 to October 18, 1854, the United Arrival & Anclam colliery consolidated with the Neuglück & Stettin , Stralsund , Hazard , St Johannes Nr. 4, Kleist, Österbank , Nelkenthal, Rabener and Muttental colliery to form the Herberholz colliery . In 1891 was in the Berechtsame United Arrival & Anclam once again through the colliery Hermann dismantled.

Promotion and workforce

The first known production figures of the mine come from the year 1830. In that year 3,077 Prussian tons of hard coal were produced . The first known workforce at the mine dates back to 1835, at that time 18 miners were employed at the mine, who produced 60,657 bushels . In 1840, 16,066 tons of Prussian hard coal were mined with 20 employees. In 1845, 60,192 tons of hard coal were extracted and the workforce in that year was eleven to fourteen employees. The last mining and workforce figures for the mine date back to 1847, when six to ten miners extracted 1,096 tons of hard coal.

Current condition

Today the United Arrival & Anclam colliery is reminiscent of a reconstruction of the cap of the Moses shaft. The Göpel is located near the parking lot on Berghauser Straße. It is station 21 of the Muttental circular mining trail .
