action

The series follows the journey of a major cocaine shipment from Mexico to Italy . However, in addition to several hundred million euros, the transport of cocaine also costs countless human lives on various continents of the world.

The powerful mafioso Don Damiano "Minu" La Piana from the Calabrian 'Ndrangheta from Gioia Tauro orders 5,000 kilograms of cocaine at the best price for his organization from a Mexican drug cartel from Monterrey under the brothers Jacinto and Enrique Leyra. He is under great pressure from other mafia bosses, the delivery has to work. He is apparently supported by his grandson Stefano, but he wants to sabotage the delivery in order to get revenge on the grandfather for the murder of his father. He doesn't believe his grandfather's reasons that his father killed women and children. One of the other bosses supports him because he wants to seize power.

Manuel Contreras is the deputy leader of a small special unit in the Mexican army and a supporter of a Christian sect. However, he is corrupt and is already secretly sabotaging his orders.

The Lynwoods - an American family from New Orleans with their own shipping company - are responsible for shipping the delivery of the cocaine . Father Edward Lynwood runs the shipping company, he doesn't trust his two children Emma and Chris much, and the son also has a fatal illness. Edward Lynwood is fatally wounded in a meeting with the Leyras of Contreras and his military unit, although the attack was recently betreras to the Leyras by Contreras.

Emma organizes the transport of the drugs. Arrived from Italy, Stefano La Piana threatens the Lynwoods in order to take over the delivery and the contact with Mexicans himself and thus secretly sabotage his grandfather. However, Emma does not stick to it and, contrary to her father's last wish, entrusts her brother, already marked by his illness, to accompany the cargo of cocaine on the ship. Since she made direct contact with Don Minu in Italy and obtained permission to do so, the grandson Stefano could no longer openly take action against the delivery without arousing suspicion.

At sea, however, the ship is arrested by Contrera's unit. When the cocaine is found, he kills non-corrupt members of his squad and his superiors and persuades the others to openly defer to the Leyras. The ship can continue its journey unmolested with the cargo.

However, the captain is bribed by Don Stefano and sets the ship on fire. While the captain and his crew flee with a lifeboat, Chris is able to free himself from his locked cabin and put out the fire. The ship is being towed.

Contreras and his men offer to help the Leyras cartel. They accept but never hide the disdain for him, his people and his soldierly loyalty. With his military expertise, Contreras later trained a large number of street boys into a powerful, brutal and loyal paramilitary unit, which he calls "The Company".

The ship with the hidden cargo of cocaine and Chris lands in Dakar . With massive bribery and the local middleman Omar Gamby, Emma who has traveled there is able to load the cocaine onto a truck just in time for a control and set off for Casablanca.

On the way they are being held by jihadists in a village in Mali . Chris is forced by the leader to pose as a doctor with his western appearance, so the leader in a refugee camp can see his newborn son while he sends another son to a suicide bombing. On the way back, the jihadists are attacked by a French drone. The leader survives badly injured, almost all of his people are killed, but Chris remains unharmed. In the meantime, Omar and his men can free Emma and want to shoot their way free with the truck full of cocaine. In the middle of the firefight with the jihadists in the village, Chris brings the injured leader back. The jihadists then pull the Lynwoods with the cocaine, but Omar dies of his injuries.

In Casablanca , Emma can find a new ship and bring the cocaine on board. Don Stefano, meanwhile himself under massive pressure from his allies, finds Chris and wants him to lead him to cocaine. When he realizes that Chris is leading him astray, he kills Chris.

Contreras has had enough of the way the Leyras treat him and his soldiers. He storms a brothers' party and kills them and many of the guests so that he can take over the business. Knowing that they are waiting for Emma, he plans to lure Emma into this house

The cocaine has now arrived in Italy and Emma is with Don Mino in Gioia Tauro. She informs him that his grandson is working against him and demands revenge for her slain brother. She blackmailed Don Minu with the threat not to deliver the cocaine otherwise. Don Minu then stabs his grandson to death.

In Mexico, Emma finally wants to meet the Leyras in order to finally pay for the delivered cargo, but finds the massacre that Contreras people have caused. You bring Emma to him. Emma pays the outstanding amount to Contreras instead and the two agree to work together in the future.
