Route
Labersricht - Wolfstein castle ruins - Höhenberg - pilgrimage church Maria Hilf - Lähr - Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal - Buchberg - Stauf - Staufer Berg - Hohe Ahnt - Tyrolsberg - Großberg - Grünberg - Schlossberg - Heinzburg - Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal - Bodenmühle - Labersricht
mark
The witness mountain is marked with a red crossbar on a yellow background. The guidance system follows DIN 33466 and the recommendations of the German Hiking Association .
Occasionally, the hiker will still find the sign of the previous route, the Neumarkt city circular route . This was marked with a red city coat of arms on a yellow background. So it made sense to use the colors yellow and red for the witness mounts as well.
Award
The German Hiking Association has Witnesses mountain round on 31 August 2007 and certified with the predicate Qualitätsweg Walking in Germany excellent. The path is one of several quality hiking trails in the Franconian Alb area, the others are the Frankenweg , the Altmühltal-Panoramaweg , the Franconian Mountain Path , the Jurasteig , the Erzweg , the Frankenalb-Panoramaweg and the Franconian Dünenweg .
