Zheng Shuyin ( Chinese  郑 姝 音 ; * May 1, 1994 ) is a Chinese Taekwondoin and Olympic champion . It starts in the weight class over 67 kilograms.

Career

Zheng played her first international title fights in 2010 at the Junior World Championships in Tijuana in the class up to 68 kilograms and at the Olympic Youth Games in Singapore in the 63 kilogram class. She won the gold medal at both events.

At the 2011 and 2013 World Championships , she was eliminated in the second round. In 2015 in Chelyabinsk she defeated Iva Radoš in the class up to 73 kilograms after two opening successes in the semifinals , before losing to Oh Hye-ri in the final . In the same year she won the title in the same competition class at the Universiade .

2016 Zheng was at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the class over 67 kg Olympic champion . She won the final 5-1 against María Espinoza . Previously, she had prevailed against Nisha Rawal 2-0, and 4-1 each against Gwladys Épangue and Bianca Walkden .

In 2017 she won the bronze medal at the world championships, in 2019 she was runner-up again.
