Milica Mandić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Милица Мандић ; * December 6, 1991 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 72 kilograms.

She made her international debut in the adult field at the European Championships in Rome in 2008 , where she reached the quarter-finals, but was eliminated there by Gwladys Épangue . In the same year Mandić won the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Izmir . Her greatest sporting success was at the 2011 World Championships in Gyeongju , where she was only defeated in the semi-finals Oh Hye-ri and surprisingly won bronze. At the 2012 European Championships in Manchester she reached the final and won silver.

Mandić qualified in the European qualification in Kazan in January 2012 in the weight class over 67 kilograms for the Olympic Games in London . There she advanced to the final and won the gold medal after a 9: 7 win over Anne-Caroline Graffe . In 2015 she won silver at the European Games in Baku . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , she was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Bianca Walkden . In 2017 she became world champion , in the final she defeated last year's Olympic champion, Oh Hye-ri , with 17:13.
