The Zickenbach or also the Zicken (Hungarian Szék patak , Croatian Cikljin ) is a left tributary of the Pinka in southern Burgenland . Together with the Willersbach, the stream reaches a length of around 30 km. The river is called Zicken from the confluence of the Serau and Willersbach rivers. The latter rises in the municipality of Hochneukirchen-Gschaidt ( Lower Austria ) and flows through the Willersdorfer Gorge . The Zickenbach reaches the Pinka near Kotezicken in the municipality of Mischendorf .

The Zicken flows through the so-called "Wart" (ung. Felsőőrség = "upper Wart"), a Hungarian language island in Burgenland . Siget in der Wart (ung. Őrisziget ) is located on the Zickenbach , a place mainly inhabited by Burgenland Hungary . The river name is also of Hungarian origin.
