history

The Wettins conquered the Barnim at the beginning of the 13th century and gradually pushed the Slavs back. To consolidate their rule, they built villages and towns. Around 1230, the Margrave Heinrich III. the Kloster Zinna in Jueterbog the deliverable village Zinndorf. The Cistercians then built the St. Anne's Church out of field stones in the 13th century . The Angerdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1375 in Charles IV's land register as Czynnendorp . A jug has been handed down from this time. With the Reformation the village fell to the Brandenburg elector and from around 1553 belonged to the royal domain office in Rüdersdorf. At the beginning of the 15th century, the robber baron Dietrich von Quitzow attacked the village. In 1432 it was the Hussites who devastated the region during Holy Week . According to tradition, Zinndorf was destroyed in the process. The plague brought further hardship over the village, claiming many victims in 1438 and 1439, 1549, 1570, 1598, 1611 and last time in 1613. In the years 1730 to 1733 locusts destroyed large parts of the harvest, so that the Zinndorf population suffered from famine.

The existence of a forge is recorded around 1730 . He was employed by the Rüdersdorf office and forced the residents to let him do the work. The population complained to the War and Domain Chamber and asked to be freed from this "evil and unwilling blacksmith". The building is still preserved in 2015 in the village green. In 1788 the first school opened in the village. In 1860 the residents expanded the building. On August 30, 1928, 18 residents founded the Zinndorf volunteer fire department . The school closed in February 1952. Since then, the children of the village have attended the elementary school in Rehfelde. In 1955, 53 members founded an LPG , which five years later had 119 members.
