Zithulele Patrick Mvemve

Zithulele Patrick Mvemve (born May 31, 1941 in Evaton ; † July 6, 2020 ) was a South African clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Klerksdorp .

Life

Zithulele Patrick Mvemve received on 29 June 1969, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 10, 1986 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Luperciana and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Johannesburg . The Bishop of Johannesburg, Reginald Joseph Orsmond , donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Pretoria , George Francis Daniel , and the Bishop of Lydenburg-Witbank , Mogale Paul Nkhumishe . On March 26, 1994, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Klerksdorp.

Pope Francis accepted his early resignation on April 23, 2013.
