Ferdinand Maemba Liwoke

Ferdinand Maemba Liwoke (born April 8, 1939 in Gamangwa , Democratic Republic of the Congo ) is a Congolese clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Lolo .

Life

Ferdinand Maemba Liwoke received on 15 August 1969, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 17, 1983 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Baliana and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Lolo . The Archbishop of Mbandaka-Bikoro , Frédéric Etsou-Nzabi-Bamungwabi CICM , donated him episcopal ordination on July 10 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Lolo, Joseph Ignace Waterschoot OPraem , and the Bishop of Lisala , Louis Nganga a Ndzando . On August 28, 1987, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Lolo.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on January 29, 2015.
