Zoran Svilar (born February 21, 1976 ) is a Serbian pool player . He is three times vice European champion .

Career

In 2007 Svilar reached the round of 16 of the Austria Open , but lost it to Markus Juva from Finland with 9:10. At the EM 2008 he reached the final in 8-ball and 9-ball . In the 8-ball he lost to the Swede Marcus Chamat , in the 9-ball he was defeated 8: 9 by the French Stephan Cohen . At the European Championships in 2009 and 2010 he reached the quarter-finals in 8-ball, but lost to the Englishman Imran Majid and the Russian Konstantin Stepanow , who then became European champion. In 2012 Svilar was knocked out endlessly in the quarter-finals in 14/1 against later European champion Nick van den Berg . At the EM 2013 he was eliminated in the 8-ball quarter-finals against Mateusz Śniegocki from Poland , before he lost the final in 9-ball against Niels Feijen 6: 9 from the Netherlands .

At the World Cup of Pool 2012 , Svilar represented Serbia together with Andrea Klasovic . The doubles were eliminated in the first round against Germany ( Ralf Souquet and Thorsten Hohmann ).
