The Evangelical Lutheran parish church for the honor of God is in Hohenebra , a district of the district town of Sondershausen in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia . The community town of Hohenebra the parish Oberspier in parish Sondershausen II belongs to the parish of Bad Frankenhausen Sondershausen the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The core of the rectangular hall church is from the 15th century. It has a square steeple to the west. The current shape is essentially from 1724 to 1726. The nave is covered with a half-hip roof, the tower with a hood with an open lantern . From medieval building walled windows on the north and south sides are preserved. The interior is covered with a wooden barrel vault. Two-storey galleries are located on three sides. The entrance to the galleries is from the outside in the south. Johann Caspar Jacobi built the pulpit altar in 1725/26. Its architectural structure consists of palm trees as well as Ionic and Corinthian pilasters with foliage and fruits. The baptismal font dates from the 16th century.

The organ comes from the chapel in Sondershausen Castle . It has 15 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , and was built by Johann Stephan Schmaltz in 1778 and rebuilt by Gottlieb Knauf in 1848 .
