Zwirtzschkau
Zwirtzschkau is a district without district status in the municipality of Bahretal in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district and, like Oberseidewitz , is part of the Niederseidewitz district, which is sometimes also referred to as Seidewitz .
geography
Zwirtzschkau is located southeast of the Saxon state capital Dresden in the far north of the municipality of Bahretal, which in turn is in the center of the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district. The hamlet , which consists of two manors, is located on the northern roof of the eastern Ore Mountains in the Elbe valley slate area . The location is on the ridge between the valleys of the Seidewitz in the northwest and the bier in the east.
The large block corridor around Zwirtzschkau, which is mainly used for agricultural purposes, covers an area of 57 hectares and forms the northeast of the Niederseidewitz district . Neighboring places are Niederseidewitz barely 500 meters south-west, the Pirna district of Beimendorf in the north, Dohma in the east and the Dohna districts of Meusegast and Krebs in the north-west.
The most important, because it is the only street in Zwirtzschkau, is the 8760 district road, which leads from Beimendorf via Zwirtzschkau and Niederseidewitz to Nentmannsdorf .
