TSR1 is a Swiss public television channel owned by Télévision Suisse Romande.

Launched on 1 November 1954 to succeed Télé Geneva, TSR1 is the first channel of the two French Swiss networks of television group TSR (the other being TSR2). In 1968 the channel first aired programmes in colour. TSR takes part in the creation of TV5 in 1984, and provides programmes for the international channel.

Following the launch of TSR2 in 1997, TSR renames itself to TSR1.
