Option Musique is a French-language radio program from the Swiss broadcaster Radio Télévision Suisse . It started broadcasting in 1994.

Option Musique is a format radio that broadcasts mainly light French-language entertainment music from the past forty years (from around 1970 to the present day). The core of the repertoire is made up of well-known titles that run in a generous rotation , as well as English and French-language “classics”, as well as Italian hits . However, young Swiss artists are also played and supported. There is news on the hour.

Every day in 2012 around 201,000 listeners tuned into the program, which corresponds to a market share of 8.2% in French-speaking Switzerland .

Option Musique is broadcast in Geneva and French-speaking Switzerland via FM , DAB and cable . The station can also be heard via satellite and the Internet . There are also podcasts of individual programs.

Until the state broadcaster Sottens was switched off on December 5, 2010, the program could be received in large parts of Central Europe on 765 kHz medium wave at night and into the early morning .
