HD suisse was a 24-hour television program of the SRG SSR (Swiss Broadcasting Company) house and co from Swiss Television , Télévision Suisse Romande , svizzera di lingua italiana and Televisiun Rumantscha that of 3 December 2007 to 31 January 2012 aired. The Swiss program offering was supplemented with foreign programs. HD suisse broadcast in all four national languages. The station showed sports, concerts, documentaries and series. The 2008 European Football Championship was also available on HD suisse.

HD suisse was broadcast in 720p via transponder 85 of the Hot Bird 8 satellite and could be received via cable, satellite, Cablecom TV or Swisscom TV. For copyright reasons, all programs had to be encrypted via satellite. These were able to be decrypted by the Swiss cable network operators and the direct satellite receivers using a satellite access card.

Since SRG SSR has also been broadcasting six of its TV programs in HDTV since February 29, 2012 , “ the test and promo channel HD suisse ” ( SRG SSR : Broadcast.ch) was discontinued on January 31, 2012.
