Heidi Range

Heidi India Range (born 23 May 1983 in Walton, Liverpool) is a member of English girl group the Sugababes.

Career

Range began singing at an early age. Her first show was when she was three and she performed "Hey Little Hen" at the Neptune Theatre in Liverpool, where she is from. Heidi started her musical career in Atomic Kitten with Liz McClarnon and Kerry Katona and was part of the original line up. She was featured on Atomic Kitten's demo tapes, but she left the group in 1999 because she preferred to sing R&B. After Siobhán Donaghy left the Sugababes in 2001, she took part in an audition for a replacement. Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan were very impressed by her singing and added her to the line up. Heidi recorded some solo tracks just before she became a Sugababe.

Range won the 'Contribution In Music Award' at the 2006 Local Heroes Awards in Liverpool. She has confirmed that she has been writing songs for a currently undisclosed upcoming artist, and will be covering drivetime on a Classic Gold station soon. Also she was the only Sugababe to enter the list of sexiest women in the world peaking at 94. Now Range is enjoying her success with the other Sugababes Keisha Buchanan and Amelle Berrabah having overall 6 #1 hits in the UK.

Personal life

She has been dating MTV presenter Dave Berry for 5 years. Reports in the press say that the pair are engaged and this has been confirmed by both of them

The pair appeared on Allstar Mr and Mrs on 24 May 2008, in which they beat the other celebrity couples and won £15,000 for charity.

Heidi was hypnotized twice to help with her fear of flying, once by Paul McKenna.
