Pan-Z (born Kendall Barron on August 13, 1986 in New Orleans, Louisiana) A.K.A. Kendi Barrioni, Child Star, Prince of Comedy is an American comedian, rapper, and actor. He is considered to some as a goofy, immature child comedian turn Hollywood others a highly talented quick to be world-famous entertainer. At the age of 6 he was the youngest stand up comedian to date. After his Comeback Television show Pan- Z’s Perspective aired on MTV. He became famous worldwide. He shot up his fame even more when he became a rapper making 2 soon to be diamond albums. He is the first rapper to have every song in a single album hit #1 on the Billboard 100 charts. It’s yo birthday eat some cake became the most selling hip hop and comedy Album to date selling over 15 million copies. He is known to be the greatest child star ever.


Early life

Kendall Barron was born in the Dubart section of New Orleans. His heritage is half Creole, half African American. Before Barron was born his father, Patrick Barron had a previous marriage with a woman named Terry Henson in 1970. She later became his guardian, they had two kids Taraji. P Henson who later became an actress and model and Teresa Henson. His father joined the army in the Vietnam war for 2 years in the 71 and 73 and was reported AWOL and fled to canada. After 8 years of marriage he broke up with his wife but didn’t divorce because they were afraid he would be discovered and arrested for leaving the war. His father later had many affairs with many women including his birth mother Tonya Hollis, which was his first girlfriend he had kids with after he broke up with his first wife. They had three kids Kendall, Jordan, and Candace. Tonya Hollis was a heroin addict after their last child Candace was born. In 1990 at the age of four, Terry Henson gained custody of Kendall and his siblings. His birth mother was taken to a rehabilitation asylum and his father was found and arrested for illegally leaving the army. Instead of going to jail he had to serve in the gulf war. He was never found and was declared missing.

His guardian mother was a music teacher at Dubart High School and choir director. At the age of 5 he got into comedy when Dubart High School had a comedy club, he would go and watch them perform. He would perform too and he gave himself the name Pan-Z the name stuck ever since. He was diagnosed with ADHD which helped a lot with his comedy. He later started doing clubs in New Orleans and sold out shows. His mother took him to Harlem’s Apollo Theater for Amateur night and he won. Paul Mooney was a guest and he discovered him. He was an opening act for him on tours. Paul Mooney introduced him to Robin Harris and he got the part of Khalil in the animated movie Bebe’s Kids. Later he started doing opening acts for Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, and Eddie Murphy. His comedy was controversial because he would use profanity in his comedy like if he was an adult.

Comedy and Acting

His comedy was controversial because he would use excessive profanity in his comedy like if he was an adult. He is known for being very hyperactive in his comedy which would please his audiences. He made his first Television appearance on Def Comedy Jam in 1993 alongside to Dave Chappelle, D.L. Hughley, Cedric the entertainer, Steve Harvey and etc. He began going on tours and comedy clubs all over the country including the infamous Comedy Store. He also appeared on BET’s Comic View many times. He started making many TV Apperences and small movie roles. The next year he got a role in his first non-animated movie Crooklyn directed by spike lee he got the part of Joseph .He also got the part of Buckwheat on the remake of The Little Rascals. In 1995 spike lee directed his first stand up comedy movie Pan-z live: off da chizzain which was in New Orleans at the Jazz Auditorium. Tupac Shakur attended the show which he got to meet and later became close friends, He was in his music videos I get around, Hail Mary, and Dear Mama.whom gave him the title Prince of Comedy. That same year he landed the role of Lil Chris in Ice Cube’s Friday and he got the role of the son in Dead Presidents. In 1996 he had an appearance in the wayans brother’s Don’t be a menace to south central while drinking yo juice in the hood. Pan-Z went back in fourth from staying with his family to doing shows.

Nickelodeon’s All That and disappearing

In 1997 Nickelodeon asked him to be a cast member on all that. At first he didn’t want to take it, but he was turned down many gigs and given to different comedians and wasn’t offered good movie roles. Pan-Z took the job, but he had to give up his adult style comedy and switch to age appropriate. He brought more viewers to the show even though Pan- Z disliked the sketches on the show. Pan-z became a trouble maker on the show. He would change some of his lines to make it funnier. He would constantly disrespect the director and get out of line. By 1998, Nick Cannon appeared on the show, they became friends. Pan-Z had many arguments, mood swings and fights with some of the cast members. His ADHD got worst which caused his behavior on the show. The last straw was when he was caught having sex in the studio with a fan. The producer kicked him off the show immediatly in the middle of his second season. In 1999, he came out with his last comedy movie Pan-Z live: Apollo II. After the show he was later unseen or unheard of. He later reported he was finishing up grade school. He was then diagnosed with chronic ADHD and later changed to AADD, Adult Attention-Deficit Disorder. Television Comeback In late 2002 Pan-Z had plans to come out with his own sketch show Pan-Z’s Perspective. Comedy Central turned him down. He asked MTV and they said yes. His show became very successful and was the most viewed show on basic cable in 2003 and the most viewed show in MTV history. His famous sketches were his old nickelodeon shows sketch, Chuck E Cheese sketch, and school dances sketch. He immediately became famous worldwide. The show aired 50 episodes. His show won an Emmy in U.S. and U.K. He also is one of the writers on Chappelle show, he make his appearances as the crazy guy doing the robot. On his show he created a logo character which he wore when he was younger and appears on his show and music videos. Pan-Z says it represents him when he was a child star or it could just be a baby in blackface. The Character has a diaper and a suit with a top hat with blackface make up. It is also worn as his jewelry and it is the logo for his record company child star records.

Movies

Pan-Z began to direct, produce and write his own films. His first movie was The School Dance which was based off one of his sketches, it is about what goes on at school dances. It became very successful grossing to $350,000,000 worldwide it won an Oscar for best documentary. In 2005, Pan-Z Made a Drama/suspense film Charler Park it grossed to 200,000,000 worldwide winning 2 academy awards including best director. Pan –z was also one of the producers for mean girls.

Music Stardom

Pan-Z started his music career when he partnered with the diplomats and produced songs off the diplomatic immunity album for his high school project in 2003. He later produced songs of the diplomatic immunity 2 album and Cam’ron's albums Purple Haze and Killa Season album. He produced songs off Juelz Santana's albums From Me 2 U and What the games’ been missing. In December 2004, after mean girls, Pan-Z released the comedy and hip hop, double disc album it’s yo birthday eat some cake. One disc is comedy, the other is hip hop. On his comedy is unreleased stand up when he was younger and today. He is the founder of Psychedelic Rap. His style is hip hop with slow jam, old school and very playful beats with unique hooks. He was offered to sign to so so def, shady, and diplomats. But he chose his own label child star Records under the parent company Interscope records. On the cover of his album is a purple and gold pimped out ice cream truck he is riding in. On many of his tours he rode the ice cream truck on stage and he later got the truck signed by many entertainers. The album sold over 15 million copies worldwide and rose his fame at an even higher level. Winning 5 grammy awards including album of the year. It’s yo birthday eat some cake became the highest selling album for both hip hop and comedy to date. In July 2005 he came out with second album break glass in case of crunk, sold over 10 million copies worldwide. On the album he came out with a controversial song called Peter Pan-Z which is a drug with the combination of marijuana sprinkled with caffeine powder, he claims he used it on his European tour for both of his albums to pump himself up. The drug is now popular in the streets. His favorite nicknames for drugs are Gigggly sticks, cheeba, purple urple, Cracko Puffs, Scooby snacks. In his music he refers to inanimate objects and anyone who is not African American as “niggaz”.

Tours

Pan-Z's always been on tour with his comedy careear. In his music carrer he went on his American tour which he went to 40 cities. His most mememorable tour was the European tour which he went to every single european country. The most controversal shows were The Netherlands and Denmark where he reportedly used Peter Pan-Z which is a drug with the combination of marijuana sprinkled with caffeine powder. He got the nickname stage diver in Amsterdam where he stage dived into the crowed. But he also passed out while he was in the crowd. Another Worldwide tour was his controversal tour, The blackface tour, 30 cities which he wore blackface makeupo throughout the whole tour. Another tour Pan-Z started in early 2006 was to donate money to the victims of Hurricane Katrina called the 110% Tour. The tour promises to give 100% of the money grossed during the tour and at the the end leading to a final concert in New Orleans. The tour grossed over 7 Billion Dollars.

Beef

The beef began when rapper Lil Wayne, a fellow New Orleans rapper, started dissing him on BET’s rap city calling him bad names. A week later Pan-Z appeared on Rap City and dissed. Lil Wayne, mentioning hes sold way more albums than him and saying he will whoop his ass. One night the two went to a club in Atlanta. Lil Wayne was calling him out, The two went argued the whole time until Lil Wayne threw cognac in his eyes, Pan-Z went on a rampage and knocked out, he was unconscious for 15 miniutes. The police were involved but no one went to jail. They both paid a fine for $600 of damage. Lil Wayne put out a mixtape diss about him. Pan-Z decided not to use a mixtape he made video tape diss. The two later ended the feud but never made up.

Celebrity, Dating and Sex Symbol

Pan-z has won the sexiest man alive in 2004 in people magazine. Ever since his TV show he has been dating many gorgeous women and has reportedly been sexually active to all of them, his first two celebrity Girlfriends were Meghan Good and Christina Milian in 2003.In 2004, he dated Paris Hilton for four months they were known for being the wildest partying and sexually active couple. He was seen in many tabloids with Paris Hilton which began his tabloid stardom. They were seen together at the VMA awards, Academy Awards, many movie premieres. Her ex boyfriend Nick Carter attended a club with the two. Paris and Nick Carter got into an argument which didn’t involve Pan-Z, Pan-Z claimed he saw Carter grabbed her by the neck, which Pan-Z reacted and punched Carter. Carter filed charges on him but the case was cancelled. They also went to a lot of clubs together around the world. His next girlfriend was Lindsay Lohan, they were inseparable they dated for six months they were number 1 in hottest couple of the year in TeanPeople Magazine, he got Lindsay Lohan pregnant but she later lost the baby after 2 months. He later dated Toccara, Shakira, Ravida shakeer (indian model) Dana Lewis (Iowa State Guard) Rihanna and his recent girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger (pussycat dolls. He made the clothing line Peter Pan-Z because he didn’t want to make himself look like a druggie. It became really popular and has appeared in many of their ads. Pan-Z recently opened up a teen night club title the school dance after his box office hit movie, there are 20 locations including Paris, New York, and Los Angeles.

2006 and up

In the beginning of 2006, Pan-Z started a tour to donate money to the victims of Hurricane Katrina called the 110% Tour. The tour promises to give 100% of the money grossed during the tour and at the the end leading to a final concert in New Orleans. The tour grossed over 7 Billion Dollars. He has been reported that he is going to attend Grambling State University or Morehouse College in 2007 for film School. He is also going to start his own fraternity Beta Phi Kappa colors pink and Carolina blue, the symbol is an angel. He has accepted a deal with Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Mann for the movie Duke of Haiti. In 2008-2009 he will release his 3rd album Stage Diver/Iwo Jima/Crack Music.
