(15) Eunomia is a main belt asteroid discovered by Annibale de Gasparis on July 29, 1851 in the constellation of Sagittarius .
Eunomia was after Eunomia , one of the Horen daughters of that Zeus and Themis from the Greek mythology named.
With a mean diameter of around 230 kilometers, Eunomia is one of the largest asteroids in the main belt. The asteroid has a geometric albedo of 0.25. It rotates around its own axis in about 6.083 hours.
