(204852) Frankfurt is an asteroid of the main belt . It was discovered on September 15, 2007 by Erwin Schwab and Rainer Kling at the Taunus Observatory of the Physikalischer Verein Frankfurt and initially had the provisional designation 2007 RH 133 .

In January 2009 it was given the number 204852 and, at the suggestion of the discoverer, was named after Frankfurt am Main , the birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe , Karl Schwarzschild and Otto Hahn . The publication appeared on April 9, 2009 in Minor Planet Circular number 65714.
