(297409) Mållgan is an asteroid of the main inner belt that was discovered on September 1, 2000 by the Swedish astronomer Alexis Brandeker at the Stockholm Observatory in Saltsjöbaden ( IAU code 052).
The asteroid's orbit around the Sun has a high eccentricity of 0.2481 .
(297409) Mållgan on 22 July 2013 following Alfons named, the imaginary friend of Alfie Atkins . Willi Wiberg (originally Alfons Åberg ) is a series of children's books by the Swedish author Gunilla Bergström . The fantasy friend is called Mållgan in the Swedish original . The naming is a dedication to all fantasy friends.
