(5094) Seryozha is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on October 20, 1982 by the Ukrainian - Soviet astronomer Lyudmila Georgievna Karachkina at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj ( IAU code 095).
The asteroid is a member of the Koronis family, a group of asteroids named after (158) Koronis.
(5094) Seryozha was named after the Soviet- Russian physicist and television presenter Sergei Petrovich Kapiza (1928–2012).
