Çeltikçi is a district and a district town in the east of the Turkish province of Burdur . The district borders in the northeast on the central district Burdur , in the northeast on Ağlasun and in the south on Bucak . The district town is located on the D-650 highway from Burdur to Antalya , which crosses the Katrancık Dağı mountain range about ten kilometers north at the Çeltikçi Gecidi pass .
The district, split off from the central district of Burdur on May 20, 1990, is the smallest in terms of area and has the second-lowest population in the province. With its population density (32.5) it comes close to that of the province (47.5 inhabitants per km²). Çeltikçi borders in the northeast on the Ağlasun district , in the northwest on the central district ( Merkez ) Burdur and in the south on the Bucak district . As an internal district, it has no borders with other provinces.
In addition to the district town (around 40 percent of the district population), the district consists of six villages ( Köy ) with an average of 523 residents. Bağsaray with 1,402 inhabitants is the largest.
