Tefenni is a district and a county seat in the Turkish province of Burdur . The city is located about 70 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital Burdur.

The district is internally bordered by Karamanlı County in the north and northeast and Çavdır County in the south and southwest. Externally it borders on the Denizli Province ( Acıpayam District ) in the west and the Antalya Province ( Korkuteli District ) in the southeast .
In addition to the district town, the district of Tefenni consists of 14 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 317 inhabitants. Beyköy is the largest village with 847 inhabitants.
