Ölbrunn is a part of the municipality Bernhardswald in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Ölbrunn is located in the Regensburg region, about two kilometers northwest of State Road 2145 and about three kilometers southeast of Bernhardswald.

history

In 1498 Ölbrunn was owned by Urban Zenger vom Lichtenwald zum Adlmannstein . This did not pass Ölbrunn on to his son Wiguläus Zenger. Urban Zenger exchanged oil wells for Geishof with his cousin Michael Zenger in 1524. The Lichtenwalder and the pastor of Bernhardswald divided from 1576 in the tithe of Ölbrunn.

Until the end of the 18th century Ölbrunn belonged to the Hofmark Adlmannstein.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Ölbrunn belonged to the Altenthann parish and had one house and 9 residents.

On December 31, 1990, Ölbrunn had seven Catholic residents and belonged to the Altenthann parish.
