Austrian Ski Championships 1923

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 11th Austrian Ski Championship was held from February 17 to 18, 1923 in the Pongau winter sports resort Bad Hofgastein in the state of Salzburg .

Last year's champion and defending champion Hans Schneeberger decided not to participate and started at the Bavarian championships, which he was also able to win.

The classification of the classes was based on age and previous performance, but was irrelevant for the championship ranking because only the grades were decisive.

The Tyrolean Method Scheiber from Gurgl was crowned Austrian ski champion for 1923 . He won cross-country skiing convincingly and achieved the best average performance in ski jumping with a mediocre performance .
