Austrian Ski Championships 1911
The 5th Austrian Ski Championship took place as part of the fifth association competition of the Austrian Ski Association from February 18 to 19, 1911 in Mitterndorf in the Kronland Styria .
For the second time, a representative of the German Ski Association was crowned Austrian ski champion for 1911 with the Thuringian Karl Böhm-Hennes , who had also won the German ski championship shortly before .

Sepp Bildstein jumped the day after the championship competition as part of the city competition in nearby Bad Aussee, in which he was victorious with the Graz team, with 41 meters (stood) a new Austrian jumping record. The runners had to cover a distance of 18 km starting at the Lopernalm, continuing to the Maseralm and via the Bergeralm to the Plan. The route had 200 m steep counter-gradients and the weather conditions were difficult to cope with, so that great demands were made on the participants in terms of endurance and driving skills.
