Career

In the club

Hansen spent most of his career at B68 Toftir . The first time he ran in 1987 at the age of 16 on the eighth day of the first division in the away game against VB Vágur , which ended 2-2. This was his only outing that season, and the next year there were ten outings. The first goal was scored by Hansen on the eleventh match day of the 1989 season in the 3-1 away win against GÍ Gøta , when he met the 2-1 lead. In 1992 he won the championship title alongside Abraham Løkin and moved to the Danish second division club Vejle BK in the summer of 1994 until the end of the year . In 1995 he reached the cup final with B68 , which was lost 1: 3 against HB Tórshavn . From January to June 1996 he played for the Danish second division club Herning Fremad and then returned again to B68. In the second half of the 1997 season, Hansen ran for GÍ Gøta and won the cup final 6-0 against VB Vágur. The following year he returned to B68, in the following season he moved to B36 Tórshavn and lost with this team in the cup final against KÍ Klaksvík with 1: 3. Then there was a brief engagement with the English third division club Oldham Athletic . Except for the 2001/02 season, when Hansen came to the course for the Danish second division club B.93 Copenhagen , he played exclusively for B68 Toftir and rose in 2004 from last place in the second division . As the first placed succeeded the immediate promotion, in the top division, however, as the penultimate, the relegation was again missed. After another year in the second division, B68 returned to the first division and was only relegated in 2012. A year earlier, Hansen mainly played for the second team in the third division, with whom he achieved promotion, but relegated again the following year. In 2013 he played his last game for the first team, in 2014 he was in the squad again. Hansen made another appearance for the second team between 2015 and 2019 (with the exception of 2017).
