kkStB 66
The steam locomotive series kkStB 66 was a shunting tank locomotive series of the kkStB , which originally came from the KFNB .
The machines of the series KFNB X were procured because of the increasing demand for locomotives in the shunting service, which the machines of the series KFNB VIII , KFNB Vc 2 , KFNB VII and older 1B passenger and freight locomotives no longer met. The StEG locomotive factory delivered 37 of these type C locomotives from 1898 to 1908 , with the last 5 already ordered by the kkStB after the nationalization. They were mainly used in Dzieditz , Krakow , Mährisch Ostrau and Prerau .
At the kkStB, the KFNB X was called series 66 .
After the First World War , series 66 came to PKP as series TKh 17 (12 units) and series 314.3 to ČSD (24 units). The 66.27 was eliminated from the PKP before it was included in their numbering scheme. The ČSD decommissioned the 314.3 series by 1965 . One locomotive has survived as a factory locomotive and is now in working order as 314,303 .
