The kkStB 4.0 was a series of luggage railcars of the kk state railways (kkStB), which originally came from the kk privileged Österreichische Nordwestbahn (ÖNWB).

history

The nine baggage locomotives were delivered by the Floridsdorf locomotive factory in 1880 . They were stronger than the ÖNWB IXa , got the series designation  IXb and the numbers 402-410 . The steam locomotives were mainly used on the Trautenau – Freiheit , Wostroměr – Jičín and Trautenau – Groß Wossek routes .

After the nationalization in 1909, the eight remaining machines were classified as series 4.0 by the kkStB  .

After the First World War , three more machines came to the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD), which they designated as M 112.0 from 1925. They were later used on the lines Polná-Štoky-Polná město and Kutná Hora-Sedlec . In 1937 a vehicle served as a shunting locomotive in the Polaun / Polubny border station .

The locomotives were retired by 1948 . No vehicle remained in the museum.
