Ʋʋ

Ʋ (lower case ʋ) is a letter in the Latin writing system . In terms of appearance, it can be interpreted either as an italic lower-case letter V or as a lower-case V with a hook. The letter is part of the Africa alphabet and is used in Ewe for the voiced bilabial fricative (IPA: β ). The lower case letter ʋ represents the voiced labiodental approximant in the international phonetic alphabet .
