Ʌ is an upside-down V. It is used in the Temnian language , the Africa alphabet, and the Pannigerian alphabet . The lowercase letter ʌ belongs to the IPA alphabet and represents the unrounded half-open back vowel .

Visually similar characters are the capital letter lambda from the Greek alphabet (Λ) and the logic symbol for the AND link ( ).
